Laborer is our entry level position that is critical to support plant needs by ensuring a safe and productive work environment. In this position, you will have the opportunity to use different skills every day as you learn the aggregate industry.
Responsibilities:
- The Laborer will perform general labor activities for the entire plant
- Maintain plant cleanliness which includes sweeping and shoveling
- Must be able to lift/move up to 30 pounds, walk, stoop, squat, sit, kneel and be capable of passing a physical examination
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Follow plant and MSHA Safety Policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment. Maintain an awareness of plant environmental standards. Takes corrective action to address minor problems or reports compliance issues to appropriate supervisor for resolution.
- Maintain reliable attendance, meeting company standards, and maintain a positive attitude
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license
- Capable and willing to work 8+ hour shift during day/night/weekend hours to meet business demands
- Ability and willing to work in a variety of weather conditions such as heat, cold, wind, rain and dusty environments
- Capable and willing to travel to job sites within a defined geographic territory
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED, preferred
- Mechanical aptitude / Construction experience a plus.

Truck Driver is a skilled position involving the safe and efficient operation of a tandem dump truck, or a tractor trailer with tarping systems. Drivers will deliver all types of soils, aggregates and other materials to locations both residential and commercial.
Responsibilities:
- Thorough operational knowledge and skills of operating a commercial motor vehicle and related equipment to be operated.
- Performs pre and post trip inspections of assigned equipment
- Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions
- Knowledge of different types and sizes of aggregates
- Must have maneuvering and backing skills.
- Follows route assignments as directed and completes end of day documentation & check out process.
- Must maintain driver’s daily logs via ELD system.
- Connect and disconnect trailers.
- Maintain reliable attendance, meeting company standards, and maintain a positive attitude
Requirements:
- Must possess a valid state commercial driver’s license (CDL), Class A or Class B with appropriate endorsements
- Capable and willing to work 8+ hour shift during day/weekend hours to meet business demands
- Ability and willing to work in a variety of weather conditions such as heat, cold, wind, rain and dusty environments. The employee is regularly exposed to wet and or humid conditions along with moving mechanical parts.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or (GED) preferred; and one to two years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
